Geomancic orientation for this site starts with the entry point. We choose carefully; it is important. There must be plenty of room to pull up to the access gate, and it should be spectacular. After all, how much do you think it would cost to set up several giant Cedars in an entry if they weren’t already there? You remote your gate and pass through. There is a cobblerocked brook bubbling under the bridge. Coming up by car you see Blue Spruce, enormous mossy rocks, ancient Cedars blanketing the forest wall and a clearwater lagoon with a waterfall and a white sand beach. Gliding over the stone bridge you whisper through a portal in the green Cedar wall and disappear.

Biosphere 

This 15 acre parcel is a wooded cluster in a temperate rain forest.  It is not wet, dark and dreary; inside the canopied interior of the biosphere it is open, dry and sunny. Using passive grooming techniques we integrate our client into this site, focusing on its unique character. In this rain forest one of the best times to go out is during the rainy  season. The trails also act as drainage rills so they are always dry, even during the heaviest rains. The canopy, deliberately encouraged during the grooming process, now stops some of the rain, and allows sunlight and moonlight to dapple the interior.

The forest, no longer two dimensional, is now interactive. The forest floor is a moss carpet, dotted with Trilliums and Bleeding Hearts. There are streams with hand-crafted bridges. All along the banks are sandy areas for reflection or meditation.

Viable Living 
We must use our own rainwater. Heavy use of male and female hormones have deformed fish populations, and municipal systems cannot remove them; rainwater, of course, is different. This is how the force from a great power (water) is examined, dissected and distributed for best use application.

There are passive but very effective systems for off the grid, hitech living; the only way you’ll know you’re off the grid is the local flight service helicopter on your personal L Z.
